PPC (Pay per click) is easy

Visit Google and other search engines, search for just about anything and you'll see a list of sponsored links at the top of the page and on the right hand side.

Each click through these listings costs the advertiser money, anything from a few pence to many pounds.

It's relatively easy to get your website listed there for your chosen keywords. All you have to do is set the right daily budget, the right cost per click and the right key words and then point the campaign to the front page of your website. Right?

Well, not really. In fact, if you get it wrong, you'll end up paying well over the odds for your traffic, will get the wrong type of traffic, the traffic arrives but doesn't generate the response you expected, etc. etc.

Or, your advert won't appear in the listings at all whatever you seem to do.

IMK has been assessing campaigns set up by clients who have eventually made their way to our door after running their own campaigns and identified common faults with not only the pay per click campaign itself, but what visitors find once they arrive at the website.

We cannot go into too much detail here, our own competition would dearly love to know what we know and how we mount such successful bcampaigns.

Suffice to say that, on experience to date, we're confident we can reduce overall costs of many exisitng campaigns, making them more efficient and cost efficient in generating relevant traffic, making the end result increased sales with a lower advertising spend per unit sold. And THAT, is with our profit built in!
